Jean's Story

Life Ok here goes. I will be talking about the promise we made to our daughter a few days before she passed away and then interject the impact of the grief. Our daughter made us swear to her that we would laugh often and continue to support each other. Every day is a struggle to live up to her legacy for she was one of the loving (my oldest too) giving and caring person I know. Through her death we discoverd that life is so precious and it can be taken away in a blink of an eye. We must live every minute like it will be our last for we do not know when it is our time to go. nity is forever. Don't wait to do the things you want to do, take that long awaited trip you always dreamed of. My youngest had so many dreams, school to be a doctor, travel, acting (she was being groomed by a producer) she never got to do any of them. She had so much pain in her leg where the cancer started begining at around 15 (she went undiagnosed for three years) by middle of 1999 she could not walk without pain. I have regrets that in the year of remission we did not take her to the countries she had always wanted to go. A year later it was to late. Anyway, that's the story. Please try and also there are never too many hugs, kisses, and I Love you's, no matter how old, we never know when it will be our last chance. Jean De Rusha-Havlen
